  1. The Progressive Driving Small Business Forward Fund: Funded by Progressive, this program offers $25,000 grants to support 10 Black entrepreneurs across the US in purchasing a commercial vehicle to accelerate their business. Applications for the current round are open until June 2, 2023, at 6 p.m. ET. To be eligible, your business must be majority-owned (51%+) and operated by at least one Black entrepreneur.   2. Charlotte Community Resilience Fund: The City of Charlotte is allocating $2.5 million to support the operating costs of nonprofit agencies based in Charlotte. These grants are available to nonprofits serving communities that have been financially impacted by COVID-19 and other disparities. The application period is from May 18 to June 30, 2023, at 5 p.m. Nonprofit organizations can apply for grants of up to $250,000, which must be used to cover general operating costs such as staff, rent, supplies, and overhead expenses. Citrus Heights Business Attraction Incentive Program: The Citrus Heights Business Attraction Incentive Program aims to enhance the competitiveness of Citrus Heights, California, in attracting target industry businesses that contribute to community vibrancy and commercial area vitality. The program provides incentives in four categories: restaurants, breweries, entertainment, and businesses that diversify the city’s economic base or enhance community quality of life through unique or underrepresented services/goods.   4. Hamilton County Small Business Relief Program: Hamilton County, Ohio, offers a small business relief grant that is open for applications until June 20. Eligible businesses can apply for grants of up to $10,000. Apply here: Link

Community Connectors Grant Program: The Community Connectors Grant Program aims to advance locally driven projects that reconnect communities separated or harmed by transportation infrastructure. It provides grants of up to $130,000 each for capacity building to support these projects. Public entities and nonprofit organizations can apply together as small teams.   6. Comcast RISE: Comcast RISE is a program dedicated to supporting the growth of small businesses and entrepreneurs while uplifting local communities.
