  1. The Elevate Grant Program empowers nonprofits – helping them expand their impact and address pressing needs to help elevate the people and communities of Alabama. The 2023 Elevate grant program will award ten nonprofits across the state up to $10,000. Application opens July 3, 2023, and closes July 28, 2023. Apply for the Elevate grant here.
  2. GoFundMe Small Business Relief Initiative: The GoFundMe Small Business Relief Initiative aims to support local businesses facing financial loss. To qualify for the GoFundMe Small Business Relief Fund, businesses must raise a minimum of $500 through a GoFundMe campaign.   3. East Buffalo Small Business Working Capital Grant Program is open until July 21, 2023. The $3 million program provides grants of $5,000 to $50,000 to eligible small businesses in a designated area of east Buffalo to help largely minority-owned establishments rebound from the social and economic impacts of the mass shooting at a Tops Friendly Market on Jefferson Avenue in 2022.   4. The Franklin Chamber of Commerce, Indiana, launched its Capacity-Building Grants program. This inaugural project of the Franklin Chamber Foundation will award 12 $2,500 grants to local small businesses. Grant Applications are open now through July 31. 2023.   5. CESAR Workplace Grants: Dog food brand Cesar is awarding grants to small businesses interested in welcoming pets into their workspaces. The Cesar Workplace Grant is offering $75,000 to more than 15 businesses to create dog-friendly workplaces. Businesses can apply now through July 28, 2023. Learn more and apply here.
  6. Cumberland County Small Business Economic Assistance Program. Cumberland County has reopened the application period from July 1 to July 31, 2023, to allow for additional small businesses to apply for assistance. for its Small Business Economic Assistance Program. This program provides financial assistance of up to $50,000 to small for-profit businesses in Cumberland County, North Carolina, facing economic hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic.   7. Geneva Community Microenterprise Assistance Program. Geneva, New York, is offering grants ranging from $5,000 to $30,000 through its Community Development Block Microenterprise Assistance Program.
