  1. Erie County’s Small Business Mini Grant: Eligible recipients must be a Black, Indigenous, or people of color, or BIPOC, and a small business in Erie County, Pennsylvania. Businesses can apply for grants ranging from $5,000 to $25,000. Applications opened today, May 15, and will close on June 2. Apply here https://diverseerie.org/business-development/ 

  2. South St. Petersburg (Florida) Community Redevelopment Area: The City of St. Petersburg’s micro fund program to award grants of up to $10,000 to small businesses is accepting applications. Existing brick-and-mortar and family childcare businesses could receive up to $10,000. Existing home-based businesses and shared commercial spaces, such as food trucks, could get up to $5,000.   3. Comcast RISE: This program supports the growth of all small businesses and entrepreneurs and is committed to uplifting their local communities. From June 1-30, eligible small businesses in Baltimore, Detroit, Memphis, Philadelphia, and Portland, OR, can apply for 100 $5,000 grants through the Comcast RISE program.   4. Maryland’s State Small Business Credit Initiative: This program is a $15 million commitment to Maryland small businesses. This is a loan opportunity, and if you are interested, check out minority-led small business lender Lendistry, who will be administering this program for the state. https://lendistry.com/
  5. Bank of America Breakthrough Lab: The call for applications for the September 2023 cohort is open. The six-month program provides tailored mentorship, digital expertise, networking with industry experts, and access to potential investors to Black, Hispanic-Latino, Native American, and other entrepreneurs from underrepresented communities so that they can scale up their technology-related businesses.   6. ARPA Assistance to Small Business grant: The City of Spokane (Washington State) ARPA funds Spokane businesses impacted by the Covid pandemic. Grants of up to $45,000 will be awarded to small businesses that can show a decline in gross revenue or show increased expenses equal to or greater than the ($45,000 grant) amount. Application opens on Wednesday, May 24th, and closes on Aug 31st, 2023 5 pm.   7. Spokane 2023 Cultural Events Grant: The Cultural Event Incentive Grant aims to support the resilience and sustainability of the City of Spokane (Washington State) events-producing organizations while expanding access for all residents to a wide range of inclusive cultural experiences. Primary considerations include event proposals that demonstrate cultural relevance, enhance cultural vitality, and/or support the inclusion of diverse communities. This grant reimburses 75% of your event with a maximum award of $25,000; an upfront payment of up to 25% of your total award is available with proper documentation. All events in 2023 are eligible, even if the event has already occurred. Application closes June 7, 2023, at 5 p.m. Award notices are expected to be made by July 14, 2023.   8. 2023 Impacto Hispanic Business Accelerator Program: The program aims to bolster Hispanic-owned businesses — specifically, food and beverage businesses that are beloved community staples — to address foundational business challenges and support business growth. 100 participants will receive a $10,000 small business grant.   9. Summer School-Based grant: The Straker Charitable Foundation is committed to supporting projects that support the education and initiatives that positively impact children’s lives in Zanesville and Muskingum County, Ohio.   10. 2023 BLOOM Grant Program for Small Businesses: Grants up to $1,500 will be awarded to small businesses in a York County borough (Pennsylvania) for projects designed to improve productivity, expand services, and encourage growth.
