  1. Amazon Small Business Grant: Open to all, but a US resident must own the business. Applications are open and close on May 21. One grand prize of $25,000, four finalist grants of $20,000, and ten semifinalist grants of $15,000. You need to have an Amazon business account and sign in to apply.   2. Black Business Loan Program: The Florida Black Business Loan Program provides loans, loan guarantees, or investments through Loan Administrators to black business enterprises that cannot otherwise obtain capital through conventional lending institutions but who could otherwise compete successfully in the private sector. May 1, 2023, through June 1, 2023.   3.  eBay’s 2023 Up & Running Program: Open to all, this opportunity is a series of annual grants that reward promising eBay small business sellers and give them the tools they need to bring their businesses to the next level. In partnership with Hello Alice, eBay is awarding more than $500,000 in grants and education resources to support U.S. small businesses with the necessary resources to scale, grow and thrive. The eBay Up & Running Grants program will award 50 eBay business sellers with grant packages of $10,000, including cash, eBay education and coaching, and more.   4. Erie County’s Small Business Mini Grant: Eligible recipients must be a Black, Indigenous, or people of color, or BIPOC, and a small business in Erie County, Pennsylvania.  Businesses can apply for grants ranging from $5,000 to $25,000.   5. Cayuga County COVID-19 Small Business Grant Program: Cayuga County’s (NY) second funding round of its COVID-19 Small Business Grant Program is open. This round features $200,000 in total funds, with each business getting the opportunity to apply for up to $10,000. The program uses the county’s allocation of federal pandemic relief funds, so applicants must meet federal qualifications. Applications for this round are open now and close by June 12.   6. St. Petersburg Community Redevelopment Area Grants: St. Petersburg, Florida’s new micro fund grant program to support small businesses in South St. Petersburg is open. The program includes $1.25 million in total funds and is designed to support businesses in communities that have been historically affected by poverty but that don’t meet strict requirements for other CRA funding programs. Qualifying brick-and-mortar or childcare businesses can apply for up to $10,000. And home-based businesses or those in shared commercial spaces can apply for up to $5,000. There’s even an option for early-stage startups to apply for up to $2,500. This program will have four application rounds, with the first running from May 9 to May 31.
